A LIVE, GUIDED DEVOTIONAL EXPERIENCE

From the quiet intensity of the Upper Room to the shadowed secrecy of Gethsemane, follow Jesus as He calls us to “watch and pray.” Feel the weight of the coming cross, the struggle of surrender, and the unseen battle waged in the dark.

This is the path through suffering… the only Way into resurrection.

Through this live narration and communion experience you’ll begin to discover what it truly means to lay down your will—and rise into the life He offers.

Reserve Your Spot!

Our default night will be on Good Friday, (4/3) at 9PM. If enough interest is shown, we’ll add a second night on Maundy Thursday (4/2) at 9PM. In the event of rain, we’ll consolidate the event into one of the alternate evenings.

This is admittedly a limited space event. We want to offer the available space to friends, family and guests without disturbing the intimacy desired for the setting.

About the Night

This is a live, guided bible study. The better everyone comes knowing what to expect the better the experience for everyone. Here’s how to make the most of this experience!

This is outside and at night. Prepare for it to be chilly so bring a coat and maybe even a hat.

WHAT TO WEAR

Other than yourself and perhaps your phone (to read scriptures)… nothing. We will provide seating and the elements of communion.

WHAT TO BRING

This is a solemn event where we are going to seriously consider how we might best prepare our hearts before entering the celebration of the resurrection on Sunday in our respective churches. To that end, we ask that you approach with a somberness and seriousness of heart and mind. Plainly put, this is not a theatrical or entertainment-style setting. So we encourage the following:

First… pray. Spend the days of Holy Week leading up to the evening asking God to show you where your personal discipleship could grow. Embrace repentance.

Second… read the Scriptures. Our narration and reading will be a composite account of the Upper Room and Gethsemane pulled from across the Gospels. Reading beforehand will make you more familiar with these accounts ahead of time:

  • Matthew 26:17-35; 36-56

  • Mark 14:12-26; 32-51

  • Luke 22:7-38; 39-53

  • John 13-17; 18:1-11
